According to Manish Mehta and the New York Daily News, the New York Jets have talked to offensive guard Kyle Long about coming out of retirement.
After several major injuries, Long stepped away from the game last season but appears at least open to a potential return. Expect the veteran to play at left or right guard if he un-retires.
On 164 pass snaps last season, Long allowed one sack, two quarterback hits, and 14 total pressures.
