According to NBC Sports, the Detroit Lions "plan to use Jamal Agnew exclusively at receiver this season".
Agnew will move from cornerback to receiver after displaying intriguing potential as a returner and logging a brief amount of offensive snaps last season. Expect the former fifth round pick to play a similar role on special teams in addition to backup receiver responsibilities.
On seven career touches, Agnew has produced 51 scrimmage yards and four first downs.
