Jets' Joe Flacco (neck) not ready for Week 1's regular season opener
New York Jets quarterback Joe Flacco said on Sirius XMNFL on Tuesday, “I can’t speak to exactly when I’m going to be ready, but it will not be Day 1.”
According to Cimini, Flacco will not be ready for Week 1's matchup against the Buffalo Bills after undergoing neck surgery in April. Expect the veteran to slowly rehab back by "throwing and working out" with "Mid-September" as a possible projection for a return date.
In eight starts last season, Flacco produced 171 completions for 1822 yards and 6 touchdowns while also averaging 11.23 FanDuel points.
