Mike Evans works out with Tom Brady, fellow Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans worked out with quarterback Tom Brady and a few other teammates at a private school in Tampa.
Brady led a workout that also included wide receiver Scotty Miller and tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate. It's the first known time Evans and Brady have worked out together since the six-time Super Bowl winner signed with the Buccaneers in March. Last season, Evans joined Randy Moss as the only players in NFL history to begin their careers with six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. He's also hauled in 8 touchdowns each of the past two seasons.
Evans is the WR6 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 146.9 targets, 86.5 receptions, 1,189.3 yards, and 8.0 touchdowns. He added the sixth-most Reception Net Expected Points per target last season out of 30 receivers with at least 100 targets.
