Preston Williams (ACL) reportedly on track, Dolphins hopeful for Week 1
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Preston Williams is "on schedule" in his recovery from a torn ACL he suffered last November, reports Adam Beasley and Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
The Dolphins are hopeful that Williams will be ready for Week 1. He's expected to start opposite DeVante Parker while Albert Wilson handles the slot. Williams, a 2019 undrafted free agent, averaged 7.5 targets, 4.0 receptions, and 53.5 yards with 3 touchdowns in eight games before the injury.
numberFire's models project Williams for 98.8 targets, 57.3 receptions, 720.8 yards, and 4.0 touchdowns this season. He's the WR48 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
