Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith said he and quarterback Ryan Tannehill have been working out together at a privately owned local park.
"We're just working on building that chemistry," Smith said. "It'll give us a great advantage. Him knowing my speed and me feeling how the ball comes out of his hands." Smith is doing what he can to overcome COVID-19 restrictions ahead of his first season as the Titans' starter in place of veteran free agent Delanie Walker. He set and matched career-bests across the board last season with 35 catches on 45 targets for 439 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Smith is the TE17 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 66.6 targets, 45.7 receptions, 513.9 yards, and 3.85 touchdowns this season.
