Giants get linebacker Tae Crowder under contract
Seventh-round pick Tae Crowder has signed his rookie contract with the New York Giants.
Crowder was the final pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, and figures to start his career as a special teams contributor, where his high school background as a running back could come in handy.
Crowder was a two-year starter for the Georgia Bulldogs, amassing 115 tackles in those seasons, including 10 tackles for a loss. He did make some impact against the pass as well, with two interceptions in his 2018 season and four pass defenses in 2019.
