Broncos reportedly declining Garett Bolles' fifth-year option
The Denver Broncos have declined the fifth-year option for tackle Garett Bolles.
A former 20th overall selection by Denver in 2017, Bolles has played in and started all 48 games on the Broncos' offensive line since being drafted. Last season he allowed 4 sacks, 4 quarterback hits, 23 hurries, and 31 pressures. He also incurred 17 penalties, the second-most in the league at his position, and was part of a Denver offensive line that ranked 14th in pass blocking and 16th in run blocking, per Pro Football Focus.
Bolles was Pro Football Focus' 23rd ranked tackle in pass protection last season, and graded out at 20th against the run.
