Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage may not make the team's final roster for the upcoming season, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.
Ballage is in a precarious position following the offseason additions of Jordan Howard and Matt Breida. Despite leading the Dolphins in carries last season, Ballage did very little to inspire confidence moving forward, posting a success rate of just 29.7%. That mark was the seventh-lowest rate in the league, among running backs with at least 25 carries. For comparison, Howard (44.5%) and Matt Breida (38.2%) had higher rates of success.
Ballage earned a run grade of 62.5 from Pro Football Focus last season, 87th best at his position.
