According to defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, Arizona Cardinals' 2020 first round pick Isaiah Simmons will play linebacker during his rookie season.
After logging snaps at multiple positions at Clemson including safety and corner, Simmons will primarily focus on playing linebacker. The athletic first round pick should play a three-down role considering his valuable coverage skill-set.
In 44 total games, Simmons recorded 28.5 tackles for a loss, 11 sacks, 20 pass deflections, and 4 interceptions.
