Saints take quarterback Tommy Stevens at No. 240

The New Orleans Saints have drafted Mississippi State quarterback Tommy Stevens with the 240th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

What It Means:

After losing Teddy Bridgewater to the Carolina Panthers in free agency, the Saints quarterbacks room had just two members: Drew Brees and Swiss-army-knife Taysom Hill. So needing depth, Sean Payton went ahead and drafted Stevens.

In nine games last season, Stevens threw for 1,155 yards with 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
