The Detroit Lions have selected linebacker Julian Okwara with the NFL Draft's 2020 67th overall pick.
Okwara's addition will attempt to address a struggling Lions' defense rated 27th overall last season according to numberFire's Expected Points Metric. Expect Okwara to play at least a part-time pass rushing role.
In 35 total games, Okwara produced 24.0 tackles for a loss and 15.5 sacks.
