McVay: Josh Reynolds receives 'a big vote of confidence' after Brandin Cooks' trade
According to Joe Curley, the Brandin Cooks' trade to the Houston Texans was "a big vote of confidence for wide receiver Josh Reynolds and his potential".
Reynolds received an encouraging endorsement towards his 2020 potential after head coach Sean McVay expressed confidence in his young receiver. “We just feel he’s a capable starting receiver," said the Rams' head coach when asked about Reynolds. After playing mostly a part-time role the past two seasons, expect the 25-year old wideout to be utilized more in 11 personnel formations and most passing down situations.
On 120 career targets, Reynold has converted 75.4% of his receptions for a first down and 37.5% (312 of 832) of his receiving yards after the catch.
