Michael Brockers' deal with Ravens falls through, returning to Rams

The Los Angeles Rams and defensive lineman Michael Brockers agreed to terms on a contract.

What It Means:

The deal is reportedly for three seasons and worth a maximum value of $31.5 million. Brockers had agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens on a similar deal early last week, but it fell through due to concerns over a left ankle injury he suffered in the 2019 season finale. Ravens team doctors couldn't immediately examine Brockers due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 29-year-old has been with the Rams for his entire career after being selected in the first round in 2012.

Brockers recorded 3 sacks, 3 tackles for a loss, and 9 quarterback hits last season. He graded 4th against the run and 19th overall on Pro Football Focus among the 72 interior defenders to play at least 50.0 percent of snaps.
