Rapoport: Bengals reportedly sign linebacker Josh Bynes to one-year contract
The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly signed linebacker Josh Bynes to a one-year deal.
Bynes' addition is another attempt to shore up a Cincinnati run defense that finished 28th overall according to numberFire's Expected Points Metric. Throughout his five-year career, Bynes has been a solid all-around contributor, averaging 0.52 pass breakups and 0.52 tackles for a loss per game.
On 1,628 total snaps, Bynes has produced four sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
