The Los Angeles Rams released running back Todd Gurley.
The Rams failed to find a trade partner for Gurley and he was about to be due $10.5 million in guarantees, so they decided to cut him. He will only be 26 next season, but troubling knee issues may limit Gurley's market. Gurley's yards per carry dipped from 4.9 to 3.8 in 2019, though the Rams' offensive line didn't help.
Gurley averaged 13.6 FanDuel points and 70.9 yards from scrimmage per game with 14 touchdowns. His 4.2 yards per touch was Gurley's lowest since 2016 under Jeff Fisher and ranked 52nd among the 59 players to average 6.25 touches last season.
