Free agent quarterback Joe Flacco (neck) is expected to be ready for the 2020 season, per Mike Klis of 9News Denver.
Flacco, who was just waived with a failed physical designation, didn't require surgery on his neck. Adam Caplan of SiriusXM says there's "interest from other teams" to sign Flacco as a backup. He threw 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on 6.6 adjusted yards per attempt (25th in the NFL) in his only season in Denver before missing the rest of the season with a neck injury. Drew Lock is the Broncos' starter moving forward.
Flacco averaged 11.2 FanDuel points per game last season. He had the fourth-lowest average depth of target (6.8 yards) among the 33 quarterbacks with at least 200 attempts.
