The Denver Broncos waived Joe Flacco with a failed physical designation, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Flacco went 2-6 with 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in his only season in Denver before missing the rest of the season with a neck injury. The 35-year-old former Super Bowl MVP will likely be added as a backup.
Flacco averaged 11.2 FanDuel points per game last season. He had the fourth-lowest average depth of target (6.8 yards) among the 33 quarterbacks with at least 200 attempts.
