Jordan Howard

Dolphins reportedly add Jordan Howard

The Miami Dolphins agreed to terms with running back Jordan Howard, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, on a 2-year contract, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.

What It Means:

Schefter says the deal is "worth north of $10 million." Howard's single season with the Eagles ended after nine games due to a shoulder injury. He averaged 52.5 rushing yards on a career-low 11.9 carries per game and scored 7 touchdowns before going down, clearing 80 yards in three appearances. The 2016 fifth-round pick of the Chicago Bears joins a running back group that includes Patrick Laird, Myles Gaskin, and Kalen Ballage.

Howard averaged 11.8 FanDuel points per game before the injury. He led all Eagles' running backs with a 44.5 success rate and 0.07 added Net Expected Points per rush.
