Blake Jarwin re-signs with Cowboys for 3 years
The Dallas Cowboys signed tight end Blake Jarwin to a 3-year, $24.25 million contract extension.
The deal includes $9.25 million guaranteed. Jarwin is expected to replace Jason Witten as the Cowboys' primary pass-catching tight end. He was limited to 41 targets in a reserve role last season, but Jarwin could take on a much larger job if Amari Cooper doesn't return to Dallas.
Jarwin only averaged 4.7 FanDuel points per game last season, but he was 7th in yards per target (8.9) among all tight ends with at least 30 targets. Witten averaged just 6.4 yards per target.
