Ryan Tannehill agrees to contract extension with Tennessee Titans
Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans have agreed to a four-year contract extension, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Tannehill is officially off the free-agent board. The four-year deal includes $118 million total ($29.5m per year), $91mil guaranteed, and $62 million fully guaranteed. This officially removes the Titans from the Tom Brady saga as well. The extension likely means the Titans will use their franchise tag on Derrick Henry, keeping two key pieces of their magical 2019-20 postseason run together.
Tannehill averaged 228.5 yards, 1.8 touchdowns, and 18.2 FanDuel points per game in his 2019-2020 season.
