Suspended Aldon Smith seeking reinstatement after 4-year absence
Free Agent linebacker Aldon Smith is "in the process of applying for reinstatement" after receiving an indefinite suspension in 2015.
According to Trotter, Smith is seeking reinstatement after receiving an indefinite suspension for multiple off-field issues and league violations. Expect Smith to attract some interest as a pass rushing specialist if his suspension is lifted.
In 59 career games, Smith produced 180 tackles and 47.5 sacks.
