Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (elbow) expects to be fully cleared in about two and a half to three months.
After visiting with a doctor on Friday, Roethlisberger was optimistic about his recovery from elbow surgery. "It was a good report," said the Steelers' quarterback when asked about his visit. "I got to bypass the tennis ball throwing for a month and go right to the football. Still going to be about 2.5-3 months until I get total clearance from doc but we are doing good."
Expect Roethlisberger to be ready by training camp if he maintains his current recovery timeline.
