Washington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis has retired from the National Football League after playing 14 seasons.
Davis will hang up his cleats after playing 198 career games.
After 14 seasons, the veteran tight ended recorded 583 receptions for 7,562 yards and 63 touchdowns.
