Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was named NFL MVP on Saturday in a unanimous vote.
Jackson becomes just the second player in NFL history, along with Tom Brady, to be unanimously named MVP. He is more than deserving of the honor after producing a historic season in his sophomore year that included breaking the NFL single-season rushing record. His efforts helped the Ravens secure the top overall seed in the AFC with a 14-2 record.
Jackson's final stats for the 2019 NFL season include 3,127 passing yards, 36 passing touchdowns, 6 interceptions, a 66.1% completion percentage, 1,206 rushing yards, and 7 rushing touchdowns. Not bad for a running back.
