Ron Rivera reportedly getting Washington gig
Former Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is expected to get the Washington Redskins' head-coaching job, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
What It Means:
The deal is expected to be done by Monday, per Rapoport. Rivera was fired by the Panthers at the beginning of December.
Rivera went 76-63-1 (.546) in eight-plus seasons with the Panthers.
