Broncos cornerback Chris Harris active for AFC title tilt
Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris (shoulder) is active for the AFC Championship Game.
Harris will supposedly play his normal complement of snaps, but his injury is considered "not insignificant." He'll undoubtedly be tested early by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Harris has been a key factor in defending the pass for the Broncos this year and a big reason why they rank first in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) with -80.31. The second best defense in the league has -35.60 Adjusted Defensive NEP. Harris typically covers the slot receiver, setting up a fantastic matchup against Julian Edelman, who was targeted 16 times in the Patriots' Divisional Round victory. If Harris can't go, it would be a big blow for the Broncos.
