Washington's Derrius Guice (knee) diagnosed with MCL sprain
Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice (knee) was diagnosed with an MCL sprain, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Guice has already been ruled out for Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles. There's a decent chance he doesn't play again this season. Adrian Peterson will handle most of the backfield work, with Chris Thompson factoring in on passing downs.
Guice has 245 rushing yards (5.8 per carry), 79 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns in five games this season. The Eagles are 3rd in the NFL against the run (89.6 yards per game).
