Rapoport: Broncos' Drew Lock (thumb) in line for first NFL start Sunday
Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock (thumb) is expected to start Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Rapoport says "all signs" indicate Lock will come off injured reserve for his first career start. Brandon Allen isn't going to cut it, so the Broncos want to see what the 42nd pick from this year's draft is capable of. He went 31-of-51 in the preseason for 254 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
Lock is the QB29 in numberFire's Week 13 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 14.2 FanDuel points, at a cost of $6,000. The Chargers are allowing 14.4 FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks (seventh-fewest in the NFL).
