Saquon Barkley 'feeling much better' for Giants after career-worst outing
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is "feeling much better" following a career-worst outing in Sunday's 34-27, Week 10 loss to the New York Jets, per head coach Pat Shurmur.
Shurmur said Barkley was "banged up" after managing just 1 rushing yard on 13 carries, but the second-year back is now "fine" after undergoing an X-ray. He's been held under 75 rushing yards in all four games since returning from an ankle injury. The Giants are on bye in Week 11, so Barkley has some time to rest up.
Barkley scored a season-low 5.6 FanDuel points in Week 10 and is averaging 14.4 FanDuel points per game. He has 402 rushing yards (4.0 per carry), 33 receptions (46 targets), 258 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns in seven games this season.
