Jets' Le'Veon Bell (knee) receives MRI Monday

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (knee) underwent an MRI on his knee Monday.

What It Means:

Jets head coach Adam Gase says he was unaware of the issue until Monday. Bell rushed 17 times for 66 yards and caught 8 passes (9 targets) for 55 yards in an embarrassing Week 9 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The injury may have played a role in Bell only managed one run longer than seven yards. Ty Montgomery would be in line for a three-down role in Week 10 against the New York Giants if Bell is unavailable.

Bell scored 16.1 FanDuel points in Week 9. He has 415 rushing yards (3.3 per carry), 242 receiving yards (6.1 per catch), 40 receptions (51 targets), and 2 touchdowns through eight games.
