Melvin Gordon gains 109 scrimmage yards in Chargers' win
Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon rushed 20 times for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and caught 3 passes (4 targets) for 29 yards in a 26-11, Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Gordon punched in a pair of goal-line scores in the second half to double up his touchdown total for the season. He out-touched Austin Ekeler 23-16 and out-gained him 109-93 as the Chargers finally got solid production from both of their backs in the same game. Next up is a Thursday night matchup with the Oakland Raiders in Week 10.
Gordon scored a season-best 24.4 FanDuel points in Week 9. He has 192 rushing yards (3.0 per carry), 66 receiving yards (4.7 per catch), 14 receptions (20 targets, and 4 touchdowns through five games.
