Kenyan Drake getting 'major run' in Cardinals debut Thursday
Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake will get "major run" on Thursday evening against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury previously said Drake will have a "manageable workload" and play "in some capacity," but with Chase Edmonds (hamstring) out and David Johnson (ankle) expected to join him, the recently-acquired back is in line for an every-down role on Thursday night. Zach Zenner and Alfred Morris are the Cardinals' other options.
Drake is the RB28 in numberFire's Week 9 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 10.3 FanDuel points in Week 9, at a cost of $5,500 on the full slate and $11,500 on the Thursday-only slate.
