Davante Adams (toe) practicing in pads for Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) is practicing in pads on Thursday.
It's Adams' first practice in pads since experiencing turf toe over a month ago. He seems to have a good chance of returning on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. That would be a downgrade for the rest of the Packers' pass-catchers. Adams cleared 100 yards twice in four games before the injury.
The Chargers are giving up the fifth-fewest receiving yards per game this season. The Packers have an implied total of 25.5 points in Week 9, third-highest on the main slate.
