Saints' Jared Cook (ankle) misses practice on Thursday
New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook was held out of practice on Thursday ahead of the team's Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Cook is still dealing with the ankle ailment that has caused him to miss last week's game, and after not practicing all week, it's nearly a certainty he'll miss Sunday's game as well. The Saints are on a bye next week, so a Week 10 return could be in store for Cook. In the meantime, Josh Hill will head up the tight ends group.
In five-plus games this season, Cook has 15 catches for 168 yards and a pair of scores.
