Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is reportedly hopeful to play on Sunday in the team's Week 7 game against the Oakland Raiders, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Valdes-Scantling is dealing with dual ankle and knee injuries, which have thrown a wrench in his practice schedule this week. He's apparently "hopeful" he can suit up, and his status will be one to monitor as kickoff looms.
In five-plus games this season, Valdes-Scantling has 19 catches for 283 yards and a touchdown.
