Chris Thompson (toe) out for Washington in Week 7
Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson will not play on Sunday in the team's Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Thompson is dealing with a toe injury, and it'll keep him sidelined against the 49ers' stout defense. That means that Adrian Peterson and Wendell Smallwood will be tasked with carrying the load on offense in what could be a blowout at the hands of San Francisco.
In six games this season, Thompson has 23 carries for 79 yards and 27 catches for 276 yards.
