Todd Gurley (quad) 'good pace to hopefully play' for Rams Week 7
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (quad) is trending toward playing Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, per head coach Sean McVay.
"I think he’s on a good pace to hopefully be able to play on Sunday,” McVay offered. Gurley is practicing in a limited fashion this week and appears to be ready to return after sitting out last game. Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson would not be as involved with Gurley active.
The Rams face a Falcons defense in Week 7 that is 20th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game. Gurley is averaging 67.6 yards from scrimmage in five games and has 5 touchdowns.
