Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson is dealing with a mild case of turf toe, according to ESPN's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says that Thompson's Week 7 status is in "some doubt," which doesn't sound all that worrisome - nor is it particularly encouraging. The team is now working out free agent backs in case Thompson can't go, which is a situation in which eyes should be kept closely.
