Rams acquire Jalen Ramsey from Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams for a package of draft picks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

What It Means:

Ramsey was able to be acquired for three draft picks - a first-rounder in 2020 and 2021 and a fourth-round selection in '21 - in a move that should greatly bolster the Rams' secondary. Of course, this comes right after Los Angeles shipped Marcus Peters to Baltimore, which was apparently a move to clear a roster spot and some salary as well.

In three games this season, Ramsey has 14 tackles with a pass breakup and a forced fumble.
