'Optimism' Sammy Watkins (hamstring) suits up for Kansas City Thursday night
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins could return to action against the Denver Broncos this Thursday, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Watkins hurt himself in Week 5 and sat out on Sunday against the Texans, but Rapoport said there is "optimism" that he could be back on Thursday. Outside of a monster Week 1 though, Watkins has not been a difference-maker this season.
Our models currently project Watkins to catch 3.4 passes for 47.1 yards and 0.4 yards on Thursday.
