Mike Evans hauls in 9 catches on 17 targets in Week 6 loss to the Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans caught 9 balls for 96 yards on 17 targets in a 26-37 loss to the Carolina Panthers in London. Evans also caught a 2-point conversion.
Evans was targeted early and often in this game as the Buccaneers stuck to their word and tried to get him the ball. This was one of Evans' better performances against the Panthers in his career but he left several points on the field. Evans dropped what would have been a long touchdown at the end of the first half, and failed to convert his other red zone targets from Winston. Evans and the Buccaneers are on a bye in Week 7 before facing the Tennessee Titans in Week 8.
Evans is up to 27 receptions for 464 yards and 4 touchdowns on 55 targets for the season.
