Sony Michel totals 113 yards, vultured thrice in Patriots' win
New England Patriots running back Sony Michel rushed 22 times for 86 scoreless yards and caught 2 passes (3 targets) for 27 yards in a 35-14, Week 6 win over the New York Giants on Thursday night.
Michel set a new season-high in touches but missed out on three separate scoring opportunities, as Brandon Bolden and Tom Brady (twice) both converted from the one-yard line. He was averaging just 2.9 yards per carry before a 26-yard burst on his final run of the night. On a positive, Michel has multiple catches in back-to-back games for the first time in his career. The Patriots will play the New York Jets on Monday night in Week 7.
Michel scored 12.3 FanDuel points on Thursday. He has 348 rushing yards (3.5 per carry), 59 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns this season.
