Daniel Jones throws 1 touchdown, 3 interceptions for Giants in impossible matchup
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 15-of-31 passes for 161 yards with 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions in a 35-14, Week 6 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday night.
Things went about as expected for Jones, who was asked to take on the best defense in the league on the road without his three best weapons on offense. That said, two of the interceptions were the result of poor decisions by the rookie quarterback. He now has 6 interceptions over the last three games after lighting the world on fire against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in his starting debut. It's not clear if Saquon Barkley (ankle), Evan Engram (knee), or Sterling Shepard (concussion) will be back for Week 7 when Giants take on the Arizona Cardinals.
Jones scored 8.2 FanDuel points in the loss. He's completed 60.7 percent of his passes for 921 yards (6.6 per attempt), 5 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions this season. The rookie has also scooted for 86 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns.
