Giants' Sterling Shepard still sidelined Thursday
New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion) remained sidelined on Thursday.
Cody Latimer also sat out with a calf injury. Evan Engram and Saquon Barkley are going to be peppered with targets on Sunday if Shepard and Latimer are both unavailable. The Giants play the Buffalo Bills in Week 2.
Shepard snagged 6 catches on 7 targets for 42 yards in Week 1. He plays in the slot, where New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder tagged the Bills' secondary for 99 yards on 14 catches in the opener.
