Derrius Guice reportedly undergoes knee surgery, out indefinitely for Washington
Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus Thursday morning, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
It's not clear if Washington will place Guice on injured reserve. Adrian Peterson will take over as the early-down back, with Chris Thompson playing a pass-catching role.
Guice was limited to 18 yards on 10 carries in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He also caught 3 passes (3 targets) for 20 yards, finishing with 5.3 FanDuel points in Week 1.
