Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles (collarbone) will be placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Foles will first be eligible to return after the Jaguars' bye in Week 10. Sixth-rounder Gardner Minshew is taking over as the starting quarterback, with Josh Dobbs, acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, backing him up.
Foles went 5-for-8 for 75 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 before leaving, finishing with 7.0 FanDuel points.
