Kenneth Dixon relased by Baltimore Monday

Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon was released by the team on Monday.

What It Means:

The two sides came to an agreement fon an injury settlement as Dixon is dealing with a fractured knee. The oft-injured back never lived up to expectations with the Ravens and is unlikely to find another suitor until possibly late in the season. Baltimore will enter the season with Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill as their running backs.

Dixon had gained 333 yards on the ground and 51 yards through the air on 66 touches for the Ravens last season.
