Free-agent quarterback Matt Moore has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After sitting out all of 2018, Moore returns to the NFL to serve as Patrick Mahomes' backup in 2019. The Chiefs were in need for a reserve quarterback after losing Chad Henne to a broken ankle over the weekend.
Moore tossed 45 touchdowns and 36 interceptions with a 59.6% completion percentage in 10 seasons with the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins.
