Chiefs' Jeremy Maclin avoids ACL, but has high-ankle sprain
Kansas City Chiefs Jeremy Maclin has avoided a torn right ACL, but has a high-ankle sprain, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
It's extremely good news for a player with two previous right ACL issues. Of course, it might not help the Chiefs for next week's trip to the New England Patriots, as Maclin is extremely unlikely to play. At best, he'll probably be limited to decoy status. His availability will be updated throughout the week.
Maclin was only able to generate 1.34 Net Expected Points prior to his exit, good for just the ninth-most among wide receivers.
